Moving from a domain to new one

I've already read note 1233320, but do you know if exist a procedure to move from one Microsoft domain to other one?

You could do all sapinst does for you manually:

- create user in the new domain

- assign permissions and policies on the domain level to the user

- assign permissions to shares and filesystems

- reconfigure the SQL logins

etc. etc.

Finding this all out and changing it manually is a lot of work.

I would do the following:

- uninstall the SAP system

- uninstall the database software but leave the database files

- put the server in the new domain

- install database software and attach the database

- start sapinst and do a homogeneous copy

In order to migrate system from one domain to other, recommended approach is to do the homogeneous system copy.
