GOODS MOVEMENT BETWEEN STORAGE LOCATIONS

Dear Sir

We have a lot storage locations for our poduction differencies. Some materials are produced one storage location as a product and trasfered to another storage location as a raw material.

Our problem is when a user transfer from his storage location to another there is no confirmation that other storage location's user's about the material take over exactly.

In other words, we want to conformations to goods movement between storage locations. By the way, storage locations at the same plant.

How can we set up this? When user A tranfer from storage location 1 to 100 items to storage 2, user B shoul confitm that ı recieve the goods completly.

Hi Fanalist,

When material is transferred from one storage to another storage material document is generated & you can the see in the T.Code MB03 OR MB52 (stock Report) you can check the stock with storage or plant wise.

If you want communicate by mail when document posted you need to configure Workflow.To configure Workflow you need to take the help of Abapers.

Check with MM Consultants whether any User Exits are available for the Program (Transaction) you are using for Stock Transfer.

If User Exit is available, we can include a ABAP code to check the Movement type & Plant & trigger a mail to concerned user regarding the Quantity of Stock Transfer.

List of Plants & User ID's can be stored in a Z-Table.

I investigate this wiki Stok transfer posting using two-step procodure is what we are looking for. But, there is problem, we use split valuation. Is there any way to use two-step procodure with split valuation.

You can handle this through exit EXIT_SAPMM07M_010 (enhancement MBCFC010).

This note explain, how you can achieve your requirement.

As I undustand we cannot use stock transfer in two steps with split valuation. Instead of two steps we can onyl use Stock Transfer Order.

Through STO you can achieve

STO : Storage location to Storage location under one plant

Do the necessary configuration for STO and also take the help of MM consultants
