Webdynpro Configuration For ides system

Hi Experts,

Please help me,Basically i am ABAPer.

I want work on webdynpro in my system,for that i was activated sicf component,

When i was run test service it showing THE PAGE CANNOT DISPLAY'.for that i had been some of the instalation people,they are tell reinstal the entire system.

Really is it required or not?

Please guide me what are the steps (configurations steps) are required to run the webdynpro application.

Pleashelp me.

Hi,

Well you do not need to re-install the whole system. And you will get same error if you reinstall unless you perform the configuration steps for accessing webdynpro pages, as in the link below:

Define the ICM hostname and port properly. Check if they are active in the tcode SMICM.

Check active services in tcode SICF. Then page should come up.
