SPML error on running the AS Java (LDAP) Update Job - Premature end of file

Hi,

Running IDM 7.1 SP5 in our test environment.

Getting the following error when trying to read java roles from AS Java (LDAP) repository.

Pass: ReadJavaRoles

Warning FromSPML got exception

org.openspml.util.SpmlException: XML Error :-1:-1: Premature end of file.

As a result none of the subsequent passes add any entries (e.g. Pass: WriteRolePrivileges).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We had a similar problem while still on SP5. In the AS Java (LDAP) Update Job, in the ReadAllJavaGroups and ReadJavaRoles, add the following to the FILTER criteria on the "Source" tab on the pass:

[datasource=PRIVATE_DATASOURCE]

this limits the search to the contents of the UME.
