Field Usage in SO header is not visible on item level (VBAP-VKAUS)- ECC6.0

Hello,

this seemed to be a bug in old SAP versions. We have ECC 6.0.

If we enter a value in field Usage VBAK-ABRVW in the sales order this is not transferred to sales orde line items. (VBAP-VKAUS).

Is this a bug or is there any way to customise this?

It looks per OSS Note 207421 - Usage indicator ABRVW in the sales order, the header usage can't be copied to item level. You may need to use user exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in include MV45AFZZ.

Check & rectify following

- Material used doesn't support relevant characteristics (like for configurable material) which will lead determination usage in sales order.

- Item Category determined don't have usage
