Change Contract Error at Inbound IDoc WE05

Dear Experts,

I want to change distributed central contract from SRM, but somehow the changes weren't happened at backend side after I checked the document via ME33K

Then I checked it by executing tcode WE05, I found that from the IDoc error I got this:

"Decimal places are not permitted"

The error happened after I change the Contract at SRM either at distribution value or others. So my conclusion is error happened at changing event only, no matter the changes.

What is the root cause of this problem exactly?

Also, what is the consequences of changing SRM Central Contract at ECC?

Hello Ted,

If you need to change the back end contract then you have to change SRM contract. This was correct . But IDOC is going to error may be because of some badi implementation or some wrong master data.
