Label printing in zebra printer - rotate 90 degree

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I have developed a smartform label. I want to rotate the label 90degree. I searched in forum and found some solutions saying that include the free attribute

S_LZPL_SETUP '^FWR'

in command of main window.

But when i try to print it via zebra it is not rotating. I don't know the reason any ideas please.

My form design holds one main window and 4 secondary windows.

Thanks & Regards,

Karthi

Hello

I will try to explain it in more details: Let's say you have

the following text:

First line

Second line

and you use the '^FWR' command. Then the text 'First line' is

rotated around the upper left corner of the 'F' and the text

'Second line' is rotated around the upper left corner of the 'S'.

So that the texts don't overlap, you must put the two text lines

into two different windows. Both windows must use the same Y position

and different X positions (that the texts don't overlap any more

after they are rotated; so the unrotated print preview will

be wrong, but the print will be o.k.).

Regards.

Hi Kenn,

Thanks for your reply. I have created seperate windows for all the fields.

My main problem is the printing is not rotating to 90 degree then only I can go for alignments.

Can any one suggest on this issue ? Any suggestion will help me a lot please.

Karthi

Hi experts,

Finally my rotation worked with ZPL device. The only problem I face is when printing the material description it is not printing in the exact position.

For example:

Material Descr.: ABC Wing-material

In this the first "ABC" is rotating in the position I placed the description, but after the space "Wing-material" it is printing in some where above the column provided.

Can any one give a solution for this please ?

karthi

Hi Karthik,

May i also know how did u resolve the issue?

Even for me the Material Description is not getting printed properly.

I'm using a 4X6 format and used the command  '^FWR' to rotate the text.

Appreciate your earliest response

Thanks,

Hi,

Try sctivating option LZPL_COLLECT_ST via report RSPO0021 and restart the spool processes as per SAP note 1272273. Then create a new spool and print and check the result.
