Availability control is not working for WBS element inspite of avtivation

Availability control is not working for WBS element inspite of avtivation of availability control.

Scenario:

Availabilty control check at 100% as error message.

In our case budget is exceeded 100%, even though system is not stoping the postings. Where as I copied same project with WBS elements and created new project and WBS elements, for this case system is checking the availability control as per control set in the system.

Note: Already Availability control is active for both projects.

Can any one help how this is not controlling for the above case

Please ensure whether both projects have the same budget profile. Other than that you need to carefully investigate how the cost was posted onto both projects in the first place. Please note in case of procurements, budget is only checked at the commitments level (search the forum as this has been discussed before).

In case this does not resolve your issue, revert back with the budget profile settings.

check whether the both project definitions are same or not (or) run CJBN i.e. activate the availability once again.

Still it is not checking the availability control.

Budget profile settings are

Activation type is 1.

overall check box is selected

Object currency radio button is selected

Please do the needful

What is the Status of your WBS Element?

If AVAC status is active, in CJ30 is Assigned values> Budget.If so then do an analysis of individual line items of your assigned value and check.
