After enter the UD code and trying to save the UD one popup is showing "Notification is completed....> can only be displayed "can any body know why this popup is coming and how to skip this popup message.

Diagnosis

You are trying to change a notification that has been completed. If a notification has the status completed, you can no longer change it.

Procedure

If you still want to make changes, you must first put the notification back in process again

Hi,

This happens in case the auto defect recording has been activated .

So when ever you record the defects in the background system auto closes the defect records . If you want to process these notification further you need to activate the notification from the defect recording screen. This will avoid the pop up but then you have to manually process the notification further and close them manually.

Is there aany possibility that after defect recording everytime you into notification & chnage status to NOCO etc.

Because as per std practise SAP close the notificaion after UD is done( OSNO to NOCO).If someone already set the satus to NOCO then system throws such msg.

Like you said AFter UD system automatically closes the notfication and makes status NOCO. But in our case we are not manually closing the notification before UD.At the same time when we execute UD and save, at that time an Information msg pop comes saying the same messgae.

If at UD it closes notification then we dont understand why the message is appearing. Does this msg come in any cases?? Because i dont remeber in previous systems such msg comes after saving UD.Have i missed any config or is it system behaviour??Are u getting such Pop Msg's???

U may check there is any User Exit at the time of UD.

hi,

whenever a notification is created in background with inspection lot than after providing the UD, status of Notification auto set as NOCO.

Mssg setting will be there either by user exits or against the UD codes in std sap system.

if u want to remove that mssg than check any user exit will be their or in std sap against UD codes mssg settiings will be their.

It is correct when u want to edit notification than u set it in Put In Process Again.
