Rescheduling - sales order

Dear Gurus,

In our system, the rescheduling transaction (V_V2) is not taking batches into account .

This means that sales orders can be confirmed independent of the batch which was manually assigned to the sales order before.

Do you know what could we do in order that V_V2 take into account the batches assigned in the sales order??

Since the batches are assigned manually, the system can't assign again during V_V2 run. Even if you set the batch search strategy records, I think it can assign only one batch as batch split is not possible in sales orders. And that selected batch may not match manually entered previous batch. Hence you may need to use Availability check user exits mentioned in the OSS 1644443 - Documentation on User Exits in Availability check, to keep the manually entered batch. Not sure, but you can try.

did you define Sales and Distr. Batch search procedure in spro?

did you activate automatic batch determination in SD?
