Budget Entry document creation (FMBB) - Posting date field

Dear Experts

We are using FM-BCS and We are trying to create Budget Entry document through Transaction FMBB. But Posting date field is not available in Budget creation screen (FMBB), only document date field is available.

As per configuration settings, We have assigned field status variant to FM Area and also posting date field made it mandatory. Even though also posting field is not appearing in FMBB screen.

Kindly suggest how to get posting date field in FMBB transaction code.

Hi,

In FMBB is the document date which is relevant. I know, that there is a field for posting date, bit it's irrelevant (could be that it was defined in the tables for future developments and then omitted).

Hi

Just a clarification: the posting date in FMBB becomes available and relevant if you have BL active, as it is the posting date transferred to the BL (FI) document associated to your budget document/s.
