WEB SYSTEM TO PI(SOAP) CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM

Hi All,

I am working on SOAP to RFC scenario.

I completed the development, and i tested the scenario by using altova xml spy.

I tested the scenario under client vpn which is working fine. After i sent the wsdl file to client.

they were saying file is not working fine and they are saying 404 error.

What I knew, I tested the scenario under client network(vpn conection).

So if they want to test, pi server need to allow the url address.

My quesition is how to create the connection between the web application to pi server.

This seems to be more of a network related configuration.

You might have to involve the network team and provide them the PI URL. They could then have the required routing within DMZ and port opening requests in place to enable connectivity.

Hi Shabarish,

Can I forward this issue to my Basis team or any thing from our side.

And one more doubt, I took the url from my WSDL file and I copied in internet explorer address bar, but it is not opening.

And the error is 'internet explorer can display the web page'.

NOTE: I am in client network (vpn).
