ESS and MSS configuration in sap ECC 6.0>>>

Hello friends,

In our ECC6.0 system we want to configure ESS and MSS... well is this ECC6.0 system have contains this settings in predefine or i have to apply for some patches and addons???? what will be the further steps for basis peoples in this ESS and MSS configuration??? please help me...

Hi,

For use of ESS/MSS, you need SAP HR and EA-HR patches are required. Make sure that these patches are on latest level.

ESS/MSS scope is quite big. So, you need to discuss this with functional people because there are some configuration for which you need Portal with ESS/MSS business packages.
