Easy DMS error when uploading file in DIR

Hello Guru,

We are using Easy DMS, we experience recently when we tried to upload a file in one DIR, we encountered an error message telling (http request: status 500 text external server error sy-subrc 0).

Can you help us figure out what is the root cause for this error, and how we can solve this error and be able to upload a file to a DIR.

all content server are running and operational. Only on one pdf file we have encountered this issue. How can we resolve this?

Hi,

As per your information only 1 particular pdf file is creating such error message. Rest other pdf files and other extension files you can easily upload.

In such a case I feel that particular file might have issues. If that pdf is a converted pdf you can try repeating the conversion process again and uploading the same.

We notice that the pdf file with issue is having a character such as (- and _ ) in its title. COuld this be a factor and its title itself is too long compare to the other? does this is a known issue in SAP DMS already?

I assume that i could be a bug in SAP DMS which might not been address so far.
