Project Coding Profile

Hi ...

My client has asked me to create a new project coding profile,which would be copied from an existing profile.Only the Proj.I.D and the Description is to be changed.

Please suggest if any other cusomizing is required for this new setup ?

Hi Gaurav,

There is nothing called project coding profile. It is project coding mask. If you mean the same . Define your required coding mask and use it. None other customizing is required other than the define project coding mask.

It's indeed project coding mask,after changing the ProjI.D and the Description of the coding mask.

do i need to go for other customization too ?

I think it's not required to change the Coding Mask as i would be copying the Coding Mask form an existing Project Coding Mask ?

Hi,

No other customization will be required. However, if you are creating a new coding mask by copying an existing one you cannot use the same Project ID. You will have to create a new project id. If that is fine with you go ahead.
