schedule lines in sales order

what is the full form of CP and CN in schedule lines of the sales order and what is the use of this..

HI Pandu,

The Schedule line category is not an abbreviation. It is a 2 letter identity for the behaviour of a schedule line.

Schedlule line controls the availability check, Transfer of requirements, movement type etc.,

CP - A standard Schedule line category denoted as "MRP" has TOR, Availaibility check with movement for the Goods Issue from Delivery

CN- Thisis again a standard schedule line category denoted as No Material Planning wihout Availaibility check and no Transfer of requirements.

CP is used for a Standard items where the availabity check and TOR are needed for proper planning of goods.
