Hi, it means that the message has been sent from adapter to integration engine. When you open the message in the message display tool (select a message in the monitor table and click Details ) there is a a column End Point in Message data showing the URL of the integration engine, meaning the message has been sent to this URL:

End Point | http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Hi again, the adapter engine (java stack) receives a message (e.g. file, RFC, SOAP etc.) and sends the message to the integration engine (abap stack) where pipeline processing (routing, mapping, calling outbound adapter) is carried out.
