Hi All,

I have a query on turning off the Localized Resources in the Sourcing 7.0 Setup.

I performed the below steps as per the Help document for the system Properties in the Setup.

Maintained APP ID as system,PROP ID as single_language_mode and Value as "TRUE"

but while importing the same from the workbook it failed with an error saying "Import failed for object number 24. No metadata defined for the system/system.single.language.mode property. [PROP_ID]"

what could be the reason. Can anyone help here.,

Regards,

Priya

Hi Mudit,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried both the options but it is not working.

Can you let me know if this system property will be hidden by any chance,

Hi

It seems you are doing something wrong. Follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Create Properties workbook with APP_ID set to system and PROP_ID set to system.single_language

2. Log in as enterprise user, go to import data ans select Properties workbook. Select Object Type as Property MetaData.

3. Once the object is successfully imported log in as system manager

4. Go to system Properties, click New.

5. In Set, select system and in Name select property system.single_language

6. Set Value as True, save.

This would work fine for you.

Hi

I see system.single_language property in E Sourcing 5.1 but can not find the same in e Sourcing 7.0. you can try once with APP ID as system,PROP ID as system.single_language / system.single_language_mode and see. Don't forget to append "system." in PROP ID.
