Hi Guru's
Kindly clarify the doubt
In the sales order(VA01), which field can we treat as a Customer delivery date and which field be treated as a Companies delivery date(committed date by the company to the customer) ?
In the sales order, let say there are 10 materials. The customer requested delivery date of each materials that entered in the sales order are different.
So where can we find this date in SAP.

Johnston

HI,
Most of the experts given the right answers, a simple thing is here is once you enter the sold to and ship to ID's and give the Materials with QTY the system will automatically through you the material delivery date in schedule line of each material.
Here still if you want the material delivery date, goods issue date, Loading date & material availability date with TIME also you will find in the schedule line it self.
Select you line Item and click on GOTO menu and go to ITEM then chose SCHEDULE LINE here you will find your material delivery date select the line item. and click on SHIPPING tab at the bottom.
here you will find all the details about the dates and time of you good movements.
Thanks,
Neo.
fell help for you please reward points

Hi
Better read the data from VBEP table. Even if you have many line items you can get your required information. i.e. for different line items ( POSNR ) will have two scheduline line items ( ETENR ) for the POSNR one is requested date and quantity and another scheduline is confirmed quantity and date. only thing is we should know how to read data.

Hi
Requested delivery date is the date the customer requests while placing the order.
Depending on the requested delivery date, system does availability check through backward scheduling & determines the Material Availability Date (MAD). This date is defaulted into the schedule line date.
If the MAD falls on or before the order placing date, it will confirm the requested delivery date. If MAD is after the order placing date, system will then do forward scheduling & propose a new confirmed delivery date. The confirmed delivery date will be defaulted into the delivery date which we find in sales order shipping view.
For eg: Customer places an order on 15th Aug 2008. Requestes a delivery date for 20th Aug'08. System will do an availability check by backward scheduling & see if the MAD is on or before the 15th. If yes, it willl confirm the requsted delivery date of 20th. If the MAD is on 17th, system does a forward scheduling from 17th & proposes a confirmed delivery date of 22nd. So 22nd will be defaulted into the Delivery date in sales order shipping view

Hi Stephend,
The date entered in "First Delivery Date" under "Sales A" tab page at item level is the customer requested delivery date. When this is entered for all items, system will check if the goods are available on that date. If not, the next earliest available date is confirmed in schedule line of each item and that new availability date is updated in "First Delivery Date" and schedule line date as well. But if you wnat to retain the customer requested delivery date in the order for each item for any reporting purpose, then you have to create a custom filed in VBAP table (under Additional Tab B) of the sales order and store this date.
Regards,
Raghav
The requested delivery date is displayed in RV45A-KETDAT. The date enetered in this field will be defaulted into the "First Date" of each respective item. First Date at the item level is displayed in field RV45A-ETDAT.
Changing the first date of the individual items (You should be able to see First Date if you scroll to the right) is what you are looking for I think.
Hi
You can check in the sales order schedule line tab where you can see customer delivery date and confirmed date(by company)

Ramana
