Serch External employees

Hi All,

Our requirement is to search external employees who have left the company but due to some reasons they want to log the call.

Is there are provision in EIC to serch those employees and creat the activity for them?

Hi Umesh

If the employee has a personnel number inside of SAP you should be able to set up an activity for them even if they are terminated. Not sure why this would be an "external search"

Hello Umesh,

Are you taking about CRM-EIC?. If yes, as of today, only active employess can be searched in the employees tab.

As far as I know, the Business Partner for resigned employees is also locked/blocked so that no processing can be done on them.

With a custom development, you can address this by developing a report that could unblock the BuPa, create a different role and assign it to the employee(retired?), create a new search tab for this role and then use it for logging calls.

Yes you can do- but you need to enhance the employee search for affected employee.

I guess there is BADi for employee search where you can do it

We enhanced this BADi for our requirement so I am sure you can archive this.
