Gurus,
I have started working on APO-PPDS where I am trying to schedule orders and planned orders. I have worked in PP in R/3 and my understanding is both planned order and production orders will consume the capacity of the resources which in turn is reflected in the resource capacity reports. However in PP-DS I found that only planned orders are consuming the capacity once they are created. But when they are converted into production orders, the capacity gets released, i.e. system shows that the capacity is available for the resource. I am referring to the report u2018Access to Resource Planning tableu2019 (t-code: /SAPAPO/RPT) where the capacity consumption is only reflected for planned orders, not for production orders.
I guess this is not a standard behavior by the system. Am I missing any configuration? Request your input in this regard.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Check the status of the order in APO. It should be scheduled not deallocated.
Thanks,
