(Using SRM7.0 sp09, pps. ecs.)
When a bidder is creating RFx Response, if the bidder does not quote for an item, system issues a warning message "you have quoted '0' price for itemxxx, which means you are offering for free"?
The intent of the message is not correct for all business scenarios,
IF THE BIDDER HAS NOT QUOTED FOR AN ITEM, IT ONLY MEANS THAT, "THE BIDDER HAS NOT QUOTED FOR THAT ITEM"; BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT "THE BIDDER IS OFFERING IT FOR FREE" !!!
PROBABLY, AS A SUGGESTION, THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SEPARATE,
1. ONE INDICATOR TO "MARK ITEM AS FREE OFFER".
2. AND TEXT FIELD T AS "REASON FOR OFFERING FREE" .. FOR EXAMPLE, A FREE SAMPLE.
Anyway, we can achieve this suggestion via custom development.
BUT HOW TO GET RID OFF THAT, MISGUIDING WARNING MESSAGE?
