OVERLAPPING VALIDITY PERIOD

Hello all,

I am facing an error message while submitting a bid in SRM5.0. The error message says : "Overlapping validity period for two condition records" and my vendor is not able to submit the bid. This error is appearing for the first time since last two years.

What went wrong suddenly and how to resolve the error?

Please help.

Hi HARSHB,

Is your vendor adding a condition manually and changing the validity period? Or your vendor is only adding a new condition without changing the validity period?

Could you post the steps executed by your vendor?

Dear Christian Zeuch,

There is no provision in my vendor's screen to add a new condition record or change validity. This has been blocked by customizing.

I think this problem is related to vendor master data but I am not sure.
