VC 7.0 SP8 - Test Data Service Error

Hello ,

We have installed VC 7.0 SP6. And developed Models for creation of

PO,PR and Sales Orders.

Initially when the Data Service such as BAPI called from R/3 System.

Tables is displayed as output .By using Flip port we could able to make

this as input. And input form, Tables has been mapped at that time

documents in R3 has been created but return table is cleared with

application error for example entry missing.

In order to solve this problem we have updated higher level patch SP8

downloaed from service.sap.com. Now we have completely different

problem Test Service doesnot recongise the input parameter such as BAPI

and also the IView created doesnot pass any value to the BAPI ofBack

end system ie. R/3 .

Pls advice the same.

There is a problem with the flip port option at the moment. It has been fixed for SP9, I am not sure when it will be released, I thin towards the end of September.

May be you missed to complete some setup.

Can you specify the steps that you did for this?

If you are using old iView (Before upgrading SPS8), try reamove and create again and try to test again.

Hi Ramakrishna,

I have downloaded SP8 from service.sap.com and deployed files using SDM. Restarted the J2EE Engine.

I have upgraded the VC 7.0 from SP6 to SP8 latest .

Is there any other steps which needs to be done after deployment.

I will try to create new iView and check the same
