Content Server Sharing

Hello,

I have installed Content Server 6.40 successfully on Win 2K3 Both URL are showing Running status,

But repository shows defined status after some time if i unlock it again after 2-3 hr it will come to defined status.

Also category which i have created is not shown while checking in doc.

please get me out of here?

Can you check alerts in event viewer about your SAP content Server webService in IIS. There could be some issue with the service installed.

Hi Deepak,

I gone through logs but didnt found anything hence i format system & tried new installation & same error persisting & also

i have created storage category successfully but while checking in document there no storage category available.

Now in event viewer it is Showing following error message

Faulting application w3wp.exe, version 6.0.3790.3959,

Hi Amol,

1) If you are on Windows 2003 SP1, Read this support blog

2) If you are on Windows 2003 SP2, another security bulletin

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933729

Above 2 points are related to your windows 2003 environment and the erorr message shared above.

In case above 2 cases does not hold true for you , you can run IIS diagnostic steps mentioned in the URL below.

Paste the output from this .
