Hello Experts,
We have CRM 7 dual stack installation. ABAP and Java stack both are on SPS6. Now because of some prerequsite I need to upgrade CRM Java stack to SPS9. I just want to know is it mandatory to upgrade even CRM ABAP stack to same level ?
Is there is any SAP note which talk about this dependency (I am not able to find).
Regards,
Abhijeet
Dual stack installations have a direct dependency, that's one (big) reason why they are no more supported for new installations.
If you update one you have to update the other. SolMans MOPZ will take care of the dependencies.

Hi,
In case you are upgrading CRM JAVA components as well in the JAVA stack then you need to update CRM abap components as well.
In case you are upgrading only core JAVA components then no need to patch CRM abap components.
Hope this helps.
