Home - Start Page is blank in BPC 10

Hi.

I have installed a fresh copy of BPC NW 10 SP4.

ENVIRONMENTSHELL has been created succssfully, when I log into the http://server:port/sap/bpc/web, the HOME tab has 'Start Page' under it and nothing else.

I was expecting to see more listings under there such as :

Activities, Porcess Monitor, Library, Documents, Consolidation Central, Audit.

Anyone seen this behaviour ?

Hi Zack,

Most of the cases, this issue is caused by the bundle version inconsistence in the back-end. You may refer to KBA 2013954 - Synchronize bundle version to fix BPC web issue - BPC NW 10.0

I checked and I had the following roles assigned.

/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT

/POA/BUI_UM_USER

/POA/CLM_BPC_USER

/POA/CLM_GRC_AC_USER

/POA/CLM_GRC_GTS_USER

/POA/CLM_GRC_PC_USER

/POA/CLM_GRC_RM_USER

/POA/CLM_GRC_USER

/POA/CLM_USER

/POA/CONTEXT_DEMO_ROLE

/POA/FCP_ADMIN

/POA/FCP_DISPLAY

After trying everything known without success, a reboot of the machine did the trick.

Hello Mugal,

Can you please do let me know in above profile which one is related to Audit Tab to access the below reports:

User:

1) Users and their detailed access rights.

2) Teams of users and their detailed access rights.

3) Tasks, users, and teams in task profiles.

4) Detail of all data access profiles.

General:

1) Changes made to data at the cell level for selected criteria.

2) Operations performed in Administration for selected criteria.

Thank for your input.

I had assigned every role that came with the BPC,10 installation in addition also assigned SAP_ALL but same result.

Do you know of specific roles I should try ?

Hi,

It may beacuse of Data Access profile assignment issue.

1.Once user created in ABAP just assign following 2 roles to user ID.

/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT

/POA/BUI_UM_USER

2. Go to web Planning and Consolidation Administration --> Create a Data access profile and assign access to respective model.

THis is because your user id does not have the proper authorizations to use those features. You need to assign the correct task profiles to your user id, then log in again.
