Splitting Big Oracle Table spaces

Hi Everydoby.

We have SAP BI NetWeaver 7.01 on HP-UX System. Database Oracle 10.2.0.5.

We have one of the productive table space size is around 7TB, Due to oracle tablespace hard limit only 1024 datafile can be added on any of the tablespace,

Could you please help, How to split such bigger tablespace in smaller tablespaces.

Hello Kapil,

i am sorry, but why do you want to split your tablespace?

You have not reached that limit so far with round about 7 TB:

1024 * 32 GB = 32768 GB = 32 TB (!!!)
