Error Message"No ID Assigned" coming While Creating Contract through RECN

Hi Gurus,

Please guide me how to overcome on below error message which is coming while creating a contract through T-Code: RECN??

Incorrect Entry: No ID Assigned

Message No.-RECABC001

Is there a long text of this message?

Is it possible that your number range is defined as external, you have to enter the contract number during creation?

Hi Severine,

Sorry for late response...the number range could not be change as "EXTERNAL" as it is affecting some other funtionality of my client's reat estate.I have been getting the below long error message

0001 0000 Activation not possible due to existing error

0001 0000 Incorrect Entry: No ID Assigned

0001 0000 Incorrect Entry: No ID Assigned

0001 0000 No instance of object type ContractREFX has been created. External reference: REC <NEW>

Pls suggest...

Hi Shankar,

could you please check if there is a BAdI implementation active (especially for BADI_RECN_CONTRACT) that may be the reason for this issue.

Hi Franz,

It seems,BADI implementation is not active for BADI_RECN_CONTRACT...in DEV-240. Can you pls suggest...If any configuration missed out..need to be done.. in DEV-240 as I am able to create a contract in QAS/IFRS.
