I am exploring the option on taking "Technology Consultant for SAP NetWeaver -EP" certification. Can anyone please provide me suggestion/link/tips on preparation.

Hi ,

Here i am providing the syllabus for technical certification.But the all material we'll find in service market place of SAP.That place need login authorization.

But the syllabus is follow:

SAP Consultant Certification

Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 – Portal, Knowledge Management & Collaboration

Software components: SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 on SAP Web Application Server 6.40

The certification exam consists of three components “Basis”, “Portal” and “KMC”. You must pass all components to become certified. The certification exam is included in course TEP10 and is also offered separately at many SAP locations.

Certification ID (Booking code): C_TEP10_04

Certification duration: 3 hours

Number of certification questions: 120

Required certificates for participation in this certification test: None

Courses for certification preparation:

 Courses for gaining required SAP Web AS experience:

- For consultants with no experience in SAP Web AS ABAP & JAVA administration: TADM10 (SAP Web AS Implementation

& Operation I)

- For consultants with experience in SAP Web AS ABAP administration, but no experience in SAP Web AS Java administration

TADMD5 (Delta Implementation & Operation SAP Web AS 6.20-6.40 (Java & ABAP)

 TEP10 (SAP Enterprise Portal Implementation and Operation)

Please note that you are not allowed to use any reference materials during the certification test (no access to online documentation or to any SAP system).

The certification test Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver 2004 – Portal, Knowledge Management & Collaboration verifies the knowledge in the area of SAP NetWeaver for the consultant profiles Portal, Knowledge Management & Collaboration. This certificate proves that the candidate has a basic understanding within this consultant profile, and can apply this knowledge practically in projects.

Ignore the last two links. they are nothing to do with certification.

First thing - the current portal technology certification is hard (I'm certified in basis, security and portals 5, 6 SP2 and 640 - so I know which ones are hardest!).

You need some basis knowledge, as well as the whole portal academy:

a few on basics

lots of questions on system admin

lots of questions on KM and collaboration rooms

a few questions on installation
