acknowledgment from XI to R/3

Hi Experts,

I need to know how to implement application acknowledgements from XI to R/3 with and without BPM.

my scenario is R/3(Idoc)->XI-->(Thirdparty adapter)Third party system

After the idoc is successfully processed in PI and message is sent to Third party system, an idoc should be sent to R/3 system.

Firstly, you should use search button, in 2 min you have your answer...

Then it depends on your Legacy. Is it a file ? a web service ? etc...

Because PI can easily return a Ack (idoc ALEAUD) to ECC, but it's just to sya" me PI, I received your ECC idoc", and that's all, maybe after that your legacy did not receive the data. See program IDX_NOALE if it's your need.

Else if your need is to know if your legacy received the data, that another story... You probably should use ccBPM.
