ECP error

Hi

We are getting in ECP error as Cost element does not exist in CO area ABC for 11/09/2011,

I checked cost element it is available with validity, if we give manually in line item the error is going

How we can build in cost model system has to pick cost element respective activity.

Hi

Please make sure the entry you are making has all the prerequisites. ex: for material, you need to ensure the material master record is fully updated with fields such as valuation class, etc for it to pick cost element automatically.

Thanks for your responce,

But here we are not using any material,it will be like

Item category/Resource/Activitytype/qnt/price,

This values will get update from cProjects but its throwing error as mentioned above.

Hi,

with activity if you are planning then cost center and activity type rate should be maitain in KP26. So if you want to plan according to activity type then work center is mandatory not cost element.

Thanks for your inputs,

But why system is throwing errors as :

1.Cost element does not exist in CO area

2.Costing item 00001 is incorrect
