SLD Configuration for the landscape

Hi ,

We have SCM,ERP, PI and BW Systems out of which all are three system landscape. Can you please suggest the sld configuration for this system. We also have a central SLD as Solution Manager . Now my question is in PI i have to include all the dev and qas in PI DEV sld and all the prod in PI PRD systems SLD. If at all i include the dev and qas in pi dev system sld what are the steps involved.

Can you please help me regarding this. Thanks in Advance......

As i understood, you will be having 2 SLDs for 3 system PI landscape. This is good approach. It would be better if you have Dev SLD which has all your DEV and QAS business systems and PROD SLD only for production business systems.

You need to do the following steps ( Related to PI )

1) Register the SLD and other PI components

2) Communication set up with all PI components with SLD

3) Creationg all business systems after creating technical systems

4) Setting up transport path between the business systems

Hi Rajesh,

Thanks For a very quick response. As per the solution to implement

1) Login to the target system run the transaction code RZ70 and register it to PI Dev SLD and PI production sld.

2) Can you please give detail technical Procedure

3) Add the Technical system and later on add the business system to the sld's.

4) Also can you please give me detailed procedure

In order, you need to create:

In DEV PI SLD:

- SCM Dev BS (assign SCM Qas BS as transport Target)

- SCM Qas BS

- ERP Dev BS (assign ERP Qas BS as transport Target)

- ERP Qas BS

- BW Dev BS (assign BW Qas BS as transport Target)

- BW Qas BS

Then, in QAS PI SLD:

- SCM Qas BS (assign SCM Prd BS as transport Target)

- SCM Prd BS

- ERP Qas ....

Subsequently, replicate in the same way these BS, in the Production PI SLD
