RFC Authorization

Hi All,

We want to limit RFC call from .net.

What authorization should be remove.

As far as i know, S_RFC object will be use when run RFC call.

If we remove all S_RFC object from users, i think it will let some t-code become unavaiable.

Does anyone have idea ?

Hi,

Could you tell us more about your scenario? What are you trying to achive? If you want to have more control over RFC connections maybe you could use transaction RZ12?

Best regards

Hi Marcin Cholewczuk,

I just don't let user has authorization to call rfc from outside system.

I write a program to test my scenario.

I find that when i call function module from local r/3 system, it doesn't check S_RFC object.

If i call the same function module form another R/3 system, it will check S_RFC object.

So, i only need to remove S_RFC object from user and my purpose can archive.

Thanks for you reply.

Hi,

It will work, but for all connections. When anyone will try to connect with your system also from for example BI/BW or XI or PI they will get an error. It can also influence transport system.
