Hi,

My file is now going from sender folder to XI ,like I have archive option as test mode.so file is getting picked and put in archive folder.

But file is not going to recv folder.

So the point is File to XI is OK but XI to File is not OK.

I am doing this simple scenario for long time now.

Thanks,

Hi,

I did adapter monitioring and I am getting these messages:

1) The sender adapter is up and running.

2)Receiver adapter up and running but no message processing till now.

So where the problem might be?

Thanks

Hi Kuna,

I Guess you should first see if the file is being picked... for that do the following.

While configuring your Sender File Adapter, let the mode be DELETE. This way, we will know if the file is being picked by the File adapter. The file will be deleted and you can be sure that it has been picked up.

In your runtime workbench home, there will be a tab, Component Monitoring, click on it. Select status as all, and click on display. The components will be displayed on ur screen. In that, under Integration Server, there will be a link for Adapter Engine. Click on it. Now, scroll down, and u will see a link to adapter monitoring, there under FILE ADAPTER see the log of the file adapter

and also, you can see the flow of your message in the integration engine in SXMB_MONI.

If your file has not been picked then the reasons for the same could be the following.

- The path that you specified while configuring the sender communication channel would have been wrong.

- While specifying the file name take care as it is case sensitive.

- If you require content conversion then make sure that the parameters entered at the time of configuration are all correct.

Do this and let us know what is happening...

Abhy

Hi,

2)Receiver adapter up and running but no message processing till now.

>>>Did you check SXMB_MONI ..is it success ?

>>then check in RWB->Message Monitoring->Message Display Tool ->Audit log

>>Are you using content conversion ? If so check without that...first time

Hi ,

I found a solution to my problem:this could help you guys too.

XI server has some strange behavior :

The file which my colleague was sending me ,it was not coming in the receive folder and not in archive folder also.

But I made some fixes to it and now it is happening correctly:

Quick fixes:

1) The text file which comes needs to be saved as All files option.

2) Cache Update problem: Even if settings are correct ,make some change and then again revert to original settings ,save it and activate change lists.

3) Editable option: After saving it but before activating it , just make sure that editable option is OFF : that pencil icon needs to be clicked so that editable option is off.

Hi kuna,

check if the message reached the adapter (RWB --> adapter monitoring)

If the message is there, look for the detail button.
