SRM 7.01 ECC EHP5

Hi All,

We have the following setup.

system details :SRM 7.01 ECC EHP5

technical scenario:Extended classic scenario

bussiness scenarios:

self service procurement

supplier qualification

Central contracts.----PI is required.

Pls suggest for which scenario I have to use PI.

I heard that SAP recommends the usuage of PI if connecting SRM 7.01 and EHP5 because of ESOA availability.

i am exploring the pros and cons of using PI to connect srm7.01 with ehp5. Pls share your inputs.

Also that in srm 7 ehp1 with out PI is also possible.

Hello,

You will needing PI for all the 3 scenarios as per your requirement here.

For Self service procurement you can avoid PI during the PO transfer to back end, but that will not be recommended to use,

For other two scenarios, you have to use PI with SRM 701 and EHP5.
