How to save the document in the defalut storage category?

Hi..

I can save the document in content server with specific storage category.But i want it should be by default in my present whenever i click on check-in a pop will appear and then i have to choose the storage category,instead of that entry should be by default

Hi,

This is just an example from my previous configurations. Here ZDMS_PHOTO is my storage category.

You can store the originals by default in Storage Category in OACT Transaction and not in content repository (OAC0). These storage category appears in the pop when you check in docs.

Assign all storage categories to content repositories ZDMS_PHOTO . this will store all docs in ZDMS_PHOTO.

To save docs by default in storage category please follow the steps.

1. Go to Define profile in General data.

2. create a profile.

3. Assign the role or users to this profiles.

4. The assign the profile to Storgae category and applications(DC30) for which the deafult storage category should be maintained.

aer you sure we need to use OACT transaction which isrelated to arhcivelink????

Thanks for your clarification.

In my response I had mentioned what I had done in my configuration which was related to archivelink.

In this issue OAC0 should be used.
