Partner Function Applicable For Credit Limit (Sold To Party or Payer)

Dear SD Experts,

I am trying to implement automated credit management. Basically I want clarify which Partner Function is applicable For Credit Limit.

In our business we have Customers for whom Sold To Party who is some time the Payer and also there are Customers for whom Ship To Party is Payer.

Therefore appreciate if you could advice which Partner Function is applicable For Credit Limit ?

Hello,

The Partner Function application for Credit Check is Payer.

System will check the Credit limit set for Payer in FD32.

The credit limit applies to the customer who is a Payer & Partner function is PY.

Payer is applicable for credit limit, if sp and py are same then no issue as payer is same.

Hi Jignesh,

The Payer is the partner fn on which the credit limit is applicable. Normally the SP and PY are same so no issues.

You can still try to deviate from using payer by using some notes.
