customizing client copy

Hello

We have wrong master@application data on test system (appearing after tests system data beeing imported from 3rd party system).

Now we have in mind customizing client copy (from existing 400 to new 500). However if I assume some customizing is made directly for client 400 the best would be:

1.customizing client copy from existing 400 to new 500

2. deleting client 400 (how long would it take for DB of size 250GB on HPUU IA64 machine 10kSAPS and 64Gb RAM

3.customizing client copy from existing 500 to 400

or

1.customizing client copy from existing 400 to new 500

2..customizing client copy from client 500 to 400(as I think customizing client copy also deletes master@transactional data)

Yes I know this but we do not have space for application nad master data on other client so old client should be deleted at least.

As far as I know this could take time (in days) for 250 GB Oracle Database(on HPUX ia64 10kSAPS machnie).

Has anyone idea how much time it would be needed

Minimum it will take 2days and veries according to ur system RAM and network..

Hi,

With 250 GB data and above configuration, you can have the client copy done in 1 day. Ensure that you have sufficient work processes defined so that you can run atleast 6 - 8 parallel jobs.

Hi Jan,

Recently we had a similar requirement in our implementation project.

I took customizing client copy into newly created client.

This will copy only customizing data.now u can upload ur master data into the new customizing client.
