Doubt in file to file scenario

can i transfer a flat file (notepad) from sender to receiver using following configuration

Adapter Type: File Adapter

Transport Protocol: File System (NFS)

Message Protocol: file

Adapter engine: Integration server

You have to select FIle content conversion as the message protocol.

You can use the same logic either for FTP or for NFS

Pankaj,

If you are using NFS protocol, your flat file(input) should be available in XI server(application server). If your input file is in a network, use FTP.
