what is the use of release status in pricing?

They said that planning purpose, on which scenario we can use this?

Hi Kiran,

Release status is linked with processing status,in VK11 or 12 if you want to block particular condition type you have to select processing status,this processing status is linked with release status.If the table is ticked with release status then only the processing status will work out.
