Exactely what happened when we provide catalogue , code group, selected sets
i mean where these effect take change , how It s imp in QM
hi
These are the major master data in QM. Catalogs 1/3/9/D/5 etc. Selected sets only for Catalog 1 and 3 types not for others.
Cataloges and code group are used where your qualitative MIC's like when u go for a physical inspection and measure some parameters like Color, Smell, Appearance, Test ( like +ve or _ve etc.)
For qualitative Mic's cataloges code group and selecyed sets are very inportant.
when u designed your quality plan against some material and related to its inspection than it may possible few parameter belongs to quantitative category and few may fall in qualitative. at that time u need to assign the catalogs and selected sets to particular those MIC 's in quality plan.
Once your lot is created and u go for RR than at that time system facilitates u a predefine measures against the Qualitative MIC's which u have defined in ur masters.
Similarly for UD (Usage Decision) and For Defects in case of any defect recording during RR.
what is the influence, so dear once selected sets assigned than u need to provide the valuation also against each of ur defined codes, and in catalog (UD) the valuation against codes like UD-GR----> A= Accept=100%, R=Reject=10%, AD= Accept under deviation= 60% like this.
Rest u need to open and read the SPRO and got to quality management-> quality planning> Basic data--> Node fro Catalog and Selected sets.
