Bex 3.5 tools and BW 7.3 backend issue

Hello,

I have got somme issues with BEX 35 frontend towards BW 7.3 backends. (SAP GUI 7.20 patch8 and BEX 3.5 patch 4)

Does somebody encounter this problem and how to solve it ?

I am planning an upgrade from BW 3.5 to BW 7.3 in january 2012 and all my customers are use to BEX 3.5.

No time left to train them before the upgrade on BEX 7 tools.

They have got about 3000 queries and a lot of bookmarks from WAD 3.5 and so on with workbooks. They are also familiar with BEX 3.5 BROWSER that disappears in BEX 7.

How can I do with the old objects just to have time left and be able to prepare the transition and convert them next year if BW 7.3 does not work with BEX 3.5 frontend ?

we are planning an upgrade to BW7.3 this year. How did you resolve the Bex issue?
