SRM-EBP / BW dataflow

I have both the BW server and the SRM-EBP in the same client/instance on a single server, running EBP 4.0 and BW 3.5, with BI_CONT 3.53.

Should I follow the same procedure to create a source system (SRM-EBP) in the BW side?

any help would be rewarded.

Hi. Yes you need to - in RSA1. Also one key thing to do is to assign a 'Srce system to a srce ID' - RSA1>Tools>Asgnmt of Srce Syst. to Srce Syst. ID.

We have SRM 5.5 with internal BW (i.e. on same system and client) on our demo box. In RSA1 this is what the Source Systems look like.

BI

-->SRM 5.0 Sandbox - LogicalSystem1

SAP

-->R3 client 007 - LogicalSystem2.

in this senario we were also reporting on some R3 data in the standard BI Cont. you might not need this as you might only want SRM data.
