How to call child DC in Parent DC

Hi,

I Have Created a Child DC and added to the Public part, but when I am trying to add the " used web dynpro components " in Parent DC i'm not getting Child's component interface what could be reason for this(it should show like 1.child test.com 2.parents test.com but i'm not getting child component here).

Hi Parameshwari,

You have create two DC's 1.chlid & 2. Parent.

Follow these steps:

1.In Child DC, right click on the component which you want to access from parent and select add to public part.

2.The main trick here is, After creating the public part you have to bulid the DC(right click on child DC select Development component -> build ).

3.In parent DC, expand DC Metadata-> DC Definition, right click on Used DCs and select the component from Child DC.

4.Now,Expand Your parent DC's component and right click on Used Web Dynpro Component . Your Child DC's component should be available.
