PRCMAS change pointer

Hi all

I set in BD52 in some fields change pointer for profit center.

But when I delete some profit then isn't generate any change pointer.

I have the similary in cost center for COSMAS and this works on delete.

Where is problem?

Hi,

does your problem is: " no change pointer have been generated " ? or " no idoc has been sent " ?

To check 1st point, see table content of BDCP.

To check 2nd point:

Have you do the ALE config: WE20 (partner Profile) + BD64 (Distribution Model) ?

Have you use Tx BD21 (or program RBDMIDOC) to generate Idocs based on change pointers and on ALE config ?

Problem is that no change pointer is generated for delete?

If I change profit than change pointer appears. I see this in table BDCP2

search if there is OSS note about the deletion.

with change pointer, some week ago, i was facing with a different behaviour between creation and update of a sales contract.

In our case, the solution was not an oss note, but a use of an enhancement in ECC...

Can you describe me what enchancement you use for this?

Hi,

in the enchancement (or user-exist or badis), there is different abap technic: either you create change pointer in your abap code (if SAP authorize it for this object), or your create a Ztable to store the created / changed / deleted object, and then you have to write an extraction program based in this Ztable, and trigger it with a SAP job (so no real time).

Here's the logic, not all detailed points.
