Hi,
Could anyone please explain me about pegging areas for a product. is there something like pegging relation of orders allocated to any resource.
We are facing a issue when we are trying to see disaggregated data of production orders at location product level.
When i debugged i got to a point where system is checking resource id and peggid in combination which unfortunately failed.
Thanks in Advance,
Regards,
Srini
Srini,
Kind of a vague question.
At least one pegging area will automatically created and assigned to a product/location whenever there has been any transactional data moved into the product location (stock, prod order, sales order, etc.)
A resource can be assigned directly to a location (which means it will be indirectly related to the pegging area).
A resource can also be assigned to an activity, which can be assigned to an order, which can be assigned to a pegging area. There may be other ways a resource can be related to a pegging area, I don't claim to know them all.
Debugging is a tiresome task, and is a fool's errand unless you are talking about custom code. If you think you have a problem with a non-enhanced SAP program, perhaps you should raise a message with SAP.
If you want to try a shot in the dark, and you think that your pegging areas may have inconsistencies, try /SAPAPO/DM_PEGCHECK.
