Solman 7.1 Sapinst request for media oracle 10G

Hi All,

Today I'm doing installation for Solman 7.1 on Linux 64 bit Oracle. Based on the media list downloaded the oracle was 11G but why when the time I install the DB its request for media oracle 10G ?

Is there anyone having this issue ?

Hello,

It is asking for the Oracle 10G, because you never changed the parameter from 102 to 112 during the initial phase when you specify the run parameters for SAPINST. Oracle 102 or 10.2 is the default. If you don't change it to 112, then the install will ask for 10.2 media. You will need to change this setting.

I've realize this after start the installation from beginning.

My Mistake,

I should choose 112 on the beginning before db install (default is 102)
