MaxDB 7.7 Windows 2008 64bit

Hi,

I have installed the latest MaxDB 7.7 communty edition on a Windows 2008 R2 64 bit Server.

I am running the dbmgui locally on the server and wold like to create a new database instance.

But when I try it I got the following error message:

-24875 The operation system user is not a member of the database administrators group.

What could I have done wrong? I have simply used the installation wizard.

And there is only one user on the server.

I hope somebody can help me.

Hi,

Add you user id with which you have logged in to SDB Operators group on the server.

Else you can login with sidadm user and perform the required operations.

Hello,

That user should have 'Administrator' rights.
