XSD Upload Error

Hi,

I am getting the following error when I upload the XSD in PI.

Unable to convert imported document to WSDL
Reason: 
Error when parsing an XML document (The element type "xs:restriction" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</xs:restriction>".)Check selected category

Kindly let me know how can this error be resolved?

Hello,

The error means that start and end tags for xs:restriction does not match. xs:restriction is either not opened or closed properly.

Open the XSD in notepad/ wordpad and close the tag.

The error was because of some tags closing issues.

Hi,

Make sure that while importing under External Definition, you have selected "XSD" and not "WSDL".

some of the tags not allowed in PI7.1

<xsd:simpleContent> like this one.
